This new City manager who does not know how to make our Olympic size Lake Worth famous swimming pool self sustaining, and maintain it.She therefore wants to destroy OUR swimming pool, used for years, before damage by Greater Bay's subcontractor, for senior water aerobics ,children Teaching to swim,etc..She claims no one uses it!!!!She wants to make it like Largo, where she came from!!! This is Lake Worth, since 1913!Fellow Citizens say something!

Lake Worth Citizens:no swimming pool use:CLOSED
Another service taken away from Lake Worth Tax payers:
Reason: Total lack of oversight of restoration job by 3 Commission members,Clemens,Vespo and Retha Lowe of their in my opinion,speculator, Greater Bay Co, who approved the partial restoration job of our pool for a full restoration, CHEATING THE COUNTY,but we had to pay for full restoration with $28.000.- cost overrun!Immediate stripes and other important corrections after opening ,we paid $80.000.-Budgeted was $400.000.-
They and the rest triumphantly, celebrated the reopening of the incomplete pool rehabilitation job as complete!!!!
Was there one responsible Commissioner, who checked our pump house?Above ground, dangerous equipment?
And payment of a City appointed Project manager O'Gorman, at $90.- per hour for months of what?????Was not even at the last inspection!!!
Last night, Public Works' thorough Joe Kroll, showed with horrifying pictorial evidence, after his inspection, that Greater Bay did not finish the job,but left us with a dangerous pumphouse, where electrical wiring was housed in rusty insulation,the pump ready to burst, and outdoor dangerous equipment supposed to be underground,the concrete of the ceiling was falling down and the walls about to collapse!Clemens and gang did not see that?1922 Contractors took pride in their work!
Not 1950 and on!
To prevent disaster and make all necessary repairs, of Citizens swimming pool $150.000.- is required and the pool closed indefinitely!No time line was given!
When illegal aliens were given our Seniors' Shuffleboard Court for $1.00 a year,, the Commission immediately voted $150.000 of OUR UNDESIGNATED FUND(our taxmoney) to make repairs on the Shuffleboard Court so that the illegal aliens(legal definition) would be safe,comfortable with new toilets,roof, windows computers etc.(not our Seniors), when supposed to be leaving our Lake and Lucerne Avenues, free from a third world entrance appearance to their new gathering place OUR Senior's 7000 Sq.Ft. Shuffleboard Court given to them for $1.00 a
year, to further move the City towards bankruptcy!
Our Citizens' paid for, unfinished swimming pool, needs $150.000.- for repairs,an expense due to administrative GROSS NEGLIGENCE and phony boasting that our pool had been beautifully completely restored.No starting blocs, no diving tower, no olympic meets as promised,stripes wrong direction, after Clemens,Vespo and Lowe style restoration!!!What happens shut Citizens out from use of their pool!
None of the promises were kept.
Removing this disfunctional Administration and replacing it,with 4 necessary Offices,would save us Citizens 40% taxes!
How long will the Citizens allow the wrong element to squander our money with corrupt waived bidding Contracts,unexplained loss of our housing stock,a loss of millions?????Corrupt decisions by employees without checking costs???10th rehab.ave.North,no competitive bid $8.600.000job!!!

Rosow's Communist take of Palm Beach?
Public servant Rosow objects to members of the Palm Beach Landmarks Preservation Commission and all other Boards donating to Palm Beach Preservation organizations.
They must genuflect for him to the Sterling Group and violate Palm Beach Laws. They only can support what he approves, like in Communist Countries.
Does he originate from one of those Countries? This is free America!
Sterling's application flies in the face of the 1979 Palm Beach Covenant, Rosow knows well, but Rosow ignores. He favors the Sterling Group, knowing the Conditions mandated by Palm Beach 1979 Covenant,which he as a Council member should uphold.
Acknowledging of which, by the Landmarks Preservation Commission would violate their mission, and the 1979 Covenant.
Rosow proves to be a hypocrite who for political reasons supported it during the Election Campaigns.He is obviously not a real Palm Beacher!
Rosow is evidently for that violation, as he wants to dictate what is allowed and what not in Palm Beach , for all Palm Beach Tax payers.
The presumption of this character, who places himself above the people he is supposed to serve, not dictate, is ludicrous.It shows lack of breeding!

Office of Budget Management
Our budget is now in the hands of the purchasing agent Mike McManaman, who with his former associate Rachel Bach admitted to have suppressed 33 responses to a City RFP,as they disclosed by chance at ameeting.What else has been hidden? Our money is involved, not to be spent, without thorough questioning of each expenditure!
An employee whom we never saw a performance report of, in 9 years. During the unnecessary electric conversion we never found out where the replaced million dollars of copper wire went, .When was an inventory presented to the Commission of stock kept for replacement of Utility equipment, building,public works materials, office supplies etc.etc.?How many duplicate orders went through the Consent Agenda for materials already in stock.Excuses are reason for firing and replacement.
Who made him Budget manager? Why do we have a deficit?Who authorized the expenditure of $650.000.- and $347.000 for repair of our blown transformer?By whom?
Why did he not have the insurance pay for it? Budget management? With a budget deficit? How many waived bidding orders did he present to the Commission for the Consent agenda?Who questioned these waived bidding submissions?Who questioned those
costs?

Since 2001 I have attended City Hall meetings and wittnessed the following facts:
Results of dishonest mismanagement, by deviously elected Commissions, have given us Citizens consistent budget Deficits.No disciplined strict oversight of all Departments, all out of control.
Rude treatment of citizens, with selective enforcement by Commission members with
as weapon corrupt building employees, and vicious code enforment personnel,airing their frustration of their personal lives on tax payers who pay their slalaries!
All condoned by, and collaborated with Commissions and City managers.
One thing all Administrations were unanimous in:
Do not allow Lake Worth to have its' 1921 Casino recreated and restored to it's 1921 Glory, to bring in revenue to prevent budget deficits!Cripple the City financially instead, by boycotting this!Spend millions in consultants fees ,phony assesments, studies!Gave away buildings with a rental potential of total $225.000.-annually

It could have opened Dec.2008 and brought millions in revenue! She Did not require a project manager for the 10th Ave. $8.600.000 rehab of 1/2 mile , not allowed to be put out for bid, by the CRA Director Oliva.Manalapan had that 1/2 mile work done for$1.780.000.!

Lake Worth Casino recreation one professionelCompany Job disected into 10 Companies.
To prevent efficient ,expedient recreation restoration of Lake Worth Casino delayed for the past 10 years,executed by one professional Contractor like 10th Ave.No. $8.600.000 for 1/2 mile rehab.
This is Lake Worth 's only revenue generating project procrastinated by self serving Commission and corrupt employees and Commissions.
The new City managers is creating many years more delays by seeing the job as one to be done, by separate architectural firms, separate Company engineers for plumbing,electrical,(when our Utility Dept. doesn't have an electrical engineer), roof construction engineers different Company, infrastructure engineers and contractors, Wall and floor builders ,structural engineers for walls and building support work all to be done by different Companies, selected by the purchasing agent only,than authorized by her and hopefully rejected by the thinking,responsible,loyal, Commission members. Those who realize and know, that the whole job can be done by one fully staffed big contractor Firm.They all have those areas covered by their own engneers and architects.,including of course a project manager!All big Contractors have their own project managers as they know their methods and laws.
Every Company at present (15) must have a different part of the job, show plans, elevations,etc.etc.costing montths of time and then,consultations(how much each?)
Hundreds of millions in construction jobs by those Companies did not need a Lake Worth
purchasing Agent and City manager project manager.Burocratizing the job to make it a 10 year job ,instead of 10 months to 1 year as Straticon can do,already known, with a FREE structural assesment, a year ago. The City manager claims it must be redone,for money!To create a greater Deficit!
The last one, Cory O'Gorman, what ever, never showed at the last job,our swimming pool.We paid over $100.000 ,but nobody cared at the Commission and hushed it,OUR MONEY!

This is Lake Worth 's only revenue generating project procrastinated by self serving Commission and corrupt employees and Commissions.
The new City managers is creating many years more delays by seeing the job as one to be done, by separate architectural firms, separate Company engineers for plumbing,electrical,(when our Utility Dept. doesn't have an electrical engineer), roof construction engineers different Company, infrastructure engineers and contractors, Wall and floor builders ,structural engineers for walls and building support work all to be done by different Companies, selected by the purchasing agent only,than authorized by her and hopefully rejected by the thinking,responsible,loyal, Commission members. Those who realize and know, that the whole job can be done by one fully staffed big contractor Firm.They all have those areas covered by their own engneers and architects.,including of course a project manager!All big Contractors have their own project managers as they know their methods and laws.
Every Company at present (15) must have a different part of the job, show plans, elevations,etc.etc.costing montths of time and then,consultations(how much each?)
Hundreds of millions in construction jobs by those Companies did not need a Lake Worth
purchasing Agent and City manager project manager.Burocratizing the job to make it a 10 year job ,instead of 10 months to 1 year as Straticon can do,already known, with a FREE structural assesment, a year ago. The City manager claims it must be redone,for money!To create a greater Deficit!
The last one, Cory O'Gorman, what ever, never showed at the last job,our swimming pool.We paid over $100.000 ,but nobody cared at the Commission and hushed it,OUR MONEY!
Companies depending on Lake Worth Project managers go out of business and would get sued for non performance.
But no administration in Lake Worth cared to have spent our money wasting it!
Lake Worth has a budget deficit?Corrupt Waived Bidding is voted for by don't give a damn Commission and Manager, and rule of the day.Vespo,Clemens and Lowe approved $60.000.000 in corrupt waived bidding unverified contracts!
This only revenue generating project is being thrashed again,to expdite bankruptcy after give away of Police Fire Dept and many other services.Our tax money goes out of town by our Utility Dept. and now the City Manager's office.
Aboloshing this dysfunctional Administration will save us 40% in taxes, a real
